Free Art Project at ASU Art Museum on 1st Saturdays

Apparently the ASU Art Museum is always free!  So hey- another alternative to the 'dinner & a movie" date night!  And as a bonus, they have a free art project for the kids the first Saturday of each month.  I hadn't heard about this before, but it sounds like a great cultural (& free!) activity to take your kids to.

Their calendar doesn't have this event listed at all for Saturday, Jan. 2nd, probably because it's close to New Year's Day.  So the next one on their calendar is Saturday, Feb. 6th.

  We just went tonight (last night I guess since it's officially 12 a.m) for our family's FHE treat- it was yummy!  They encouraged us to sample any flavors, then we each chose the one we wanted for our free one.  Ryan got pineapple, I got maple pecan, Cameron got strawberry banana, and the girls both chose dark chocolate.  They were good size servings, too- not little mini sample sizes or anything.  We actually have 3 of them in the freezer that didn't get finished!  Mighty tasty!
